Too busy to come by here often. Sowi!

Hmm I'm back. Or at least, I think I am. Well I should be updatin soon... If I can find my damm camera. Grrr.
I got onto the Blackpool School of Art and Design Foundation Course easily. I was sent a letter of work I need to do over the summer and reading material etc. Which is nice cuz I realy want to get started on that. Also on an encouraging note, 'John Threlfall' who got the D&AD Student of the Year award (2004) was at Blackpool too. So I'm sure the place is gonna be ok.
Hmm what else... Oh I should be having an interview with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) too. Only nothing to do with A&D... I'm going to learn Japanese! Well i already was, but this will help to have actual lessons again. Only 2 hours a week and roughly 8-10 hours of study at home too.
Oh lastly, I'm writing a CV today to try to get a summer job in a Graphic Design Studio. Ooh hope I can.
Went to UCLAN's art and design exhibition and it was nice. But the Graphic Design wasn't like, fantastic or anything. Not that I expected it to be anyway but it was still fun to see that and all the other course's work too.
I found out today that Blackpool has their exhibition on Wednesday! So me and Shoop are going to go there. Well at leist I think you are aren't ya?
So...
I gotta update. See Blackpool exhibition. Do more drawing practice again (I'll load some of that up into scraps...). Err. Find Camera. Finish CV. Check through the 772 items in my message box on dA and see if anything's worth lookin at. Mostly new deviations. (Oh my, you all update too much lol) Oh and I got this week to finish my A2 units.

I realy don't have time for this I'm afraid. I used to have lots more time to spend on deviantART... I guess, once the year is over, and my A2s are all done, then I'll be on alot more... Besides, I don't know if I have mentioned here before but, I'm going to be doing an Foundation in Art and Design for one year at Blackpool School of Art and Design. Not because I need to realy, but because it will help broaden my skills, oh and it will be fun too lol. Anyway, I'll try my best to try to get some of my stuff on here... I'll try .

I got Illustrator CS onto my computer again (off torrent reactor ). I had it before but didn't have the install files to back up before the re-format. Now I can get on with some arty stuff again. I got Photoshop CS on a few days ago but the shortcuts dont work (the horror!). Not even the copy and paste shortcuts work in it. I can't stand it so I'll reinstall that first but I may have to go download it again.

I have some ideas to get on with too. For art I am still doing stuff about stencil art. I'm doing the essay though now. I am doing the 1000 word one with practical work. If you want to see the artists they are:

Banksy: Won't be too hard because I have sorta been doin similar to that already. Gotta think of something cleaver for this though.
Blek: Going to do a similar piece to bleklerat.free.fr/Graffiti17.h… My character happens to be from "The Godfather" though He fits perfectly intot he style if you see it.
Nano4841: More cartoony which will be fun as I haven't realy done much of that in my stuff yet. Might get several characters into this one.

Apart from Art in school I am going to use Illustrator CS for something. I got a picture of Mat now lol. Not that it mattered who it was because you can't see em... I will use that and a photo of my brothers electric guitar and have the amp wire breaking up and lots of little wires will look like they are almost creeping up and some will go round the body to the ears . Maybe forming some sort of headphone shape there. But anyway, I want it to look a little bit creepy with all those 'alive' wires. Some words in there too. Maybe realy simple like "Hear" or "Sound" unless I can think of  a catchy thing to stick on.  (I'll probably think of something)

I'm going to enter some stuff for the clothing contest. Probably make stuff then convert it into 6 colours after.

Oh I need to re-subscribe to dA still too.

Well not been around here much lately. I'll be on more now I think, the holiday is over and I didn't do much over it, art wise. I also had my pc reformatted so I need to get my Photoshop working again. I tried yesterday but none of the shortcuts were working, even ctrl+c/v! So I'll try again .
